Debenhams Easter Extravaganza.

I am sure you ladies are probably aware already that Debenhams currently have a nice little 10% discount off their beauty range to celebrate Easter. If not you still have time to order your products, but hurry as the promotion ends tonight!
I was luckily enough to stumble across this little gem entirely by chance when I looked at other websites that sold MAC make-up. (I'm desperate for the Wonder Woman Mineralize Skin Finish in "Pink Power", but alas, everywhere has sold out!)
I was however, extremely cheered up to find that there was a slight reduction on MAC which therefore allowed me to spent my money on things that have been on my "favourites list" for quite some months. I was also very much delighted at the fact that Debenhams also had Free Standard Delivery - always a little bonus.
Here's what was purchased:

187 Stipling Face Brush/ Duo Fibre Brush
RRP 31.00 REDUCED £27.90
This is something that I've wanted since Christmas, but being a student means I find it hard to justify spending over £30 on a single brush, I was definitely glad to see that this brush was reduced.

DUO Adhesive
RRP £10.00 REDUCED £9.00
Being a regular wearer of false eyelashes I was planning on buying this eyelash glue anyway on the weekend, but it's nice to know that I have saved a pound.

Eyeshadow - Woodwinked.
RRP £11.50 REDUCED £10.35

Eyeshadow - All That Glitters
RRP £11.50 REDUCED £10.35

I've been wanting to try out the Mac Eyeshadow range for quite some time, but have just never got round to purchasing one. Whenever I go to my local MAC counter I just seemed to be overwhelmed by choice and not wanting to look like a complete idiot standing about with my mouth open looking gormless, I've always found myself buying a lipstick instead.
After much thought, and with the help of a few fellow bloggers I choice these colours. I think I'm definitely a neutral-kinda-girl when it comes to eyeshadows.

Finally I opted for a trusty lipstick
Lipstick - Creme D'Nude.
RRP £13.50 - REDUCED £12.15

Apologies for the slightly different picture -
I tried to copy MAC's photograph but for some reason the colour had gone.
This photograph is taken from www.temptalia.com

I can't even begin to explain my excitement for this parcel to arrive.
I'm going away with my boyfriend to Bournemouth on Thursday - Monday, "Glamping" as the cast fro "The Only Way Is Essex" would say. So I'll have to review and swatch when I get back.
Hope everyone has made the most of this beautiful weather - I don't know about you but I'm BBQ-ed out!
Let's hope this weekend is just as good :).

I'd love to know your thoughts
Have you taken advantage of the Debenhams Easter Extravaganza?
Do you have any further MAC Eye shadows that you would recommend?

Apology, Catch Up And First Outfit of the Night!

Firstly I just want to apologise for my absence and lack of blog posts. I've been extremely busy with my schoolwork and revising hard for my upcoming exams next month.I've also had a few personal problems involving my boyfriend, which has put me in a pretty naff recently and left me feeling slightly uninspired to write.
I'm hoping everything will sort themselves out soon, and i'll be back to my usual rambling self.
Right so let's get back into the swing of things..

♡ The week before last was two of my good friends eighteenths and they hired out a club for the night. It was so nice to have a party and place where you knew everyone, it was also good to dance like a complete idiot and not care about who was watching - something that can only be achieved with the help of a few sambucas!
Here's what I wore.
♡ Dress - Asos (although now discontinued)
♡ Bracelet - Links of London

Sarah (one of the birthday girls), Connor and Me
Apologies for the lighting, I think there must have been a slightly intoxicated photographer!
♡ My gorgeous puppy went under surgery last week, I must admit I felt so maternal and worried for her.
Everything went to plan and she's now on her way back to being her normal mad self.
No puppies for you now Bella!
♡ Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to London to watch and support his step father who ran the London Marathon 2011! It was such a fantastic day out and the atmosphere was brilliant. We were right in front of the barriers and watched all the athletes run past right from the elite to the masses. He finished the time in 4 hours 43 minutes after running a total of 26.2 miles!
I have nothing but admiration for all the runners.

Hope everyone has had a great weekend, I promise i won't leave it too long till my next blog.

I'd love to hear your thoughts:
Did you go to watch the London Marathon?
